Recently I dealt with “there is insufficient space on the device” error on my android device. While I was having great amount of internal memory to download the desired application. So after doing some Research and development I found the root cause of the problem and realized that android system stores certain chunks of memory partition for itself to make sure apps that won’t run out of space (Receiving mails, call logs, SMS, etc). so there are n number of fixes for this problem. some are very difficult which requires coding knowledge and rooted device while some are easy as removing so apps.
